In addition to the paper recycling box we are now offering a Recycling dumpster to our residents (please see the guidelines below). The Recycling dumpster is located at the Big Beaver Borough Firehall at 621 Friendship Road, Darlington PA 16115. Please note, if the paper recycling box (the yellow and green dumpster beside the recycling dumpster) is not full, please recycle paper in the paper recycling dumpster. Please contact the Borough Building at 724-827-2416 with any questions.
RECYCLING GUIDELINES
Only the following items are acceptable for recycling.
Items not listed must be disposed of as trash.
If necessary, the recyclable items may be placed in clear plastic bags.

We accept only plastic items labeled #1 or #2.
METAL:
Empty metal containers commonly used for beverages and food.
The following items cannot be recycled at our facility:
Gift wrapping paper, bubble wrap, Styrofoam including blocks and peanuts, foam board, polystyrene including cups and plates, take-out food containers, cardboard contaminated with oil or food debris.
